SabaiWallet — Privacy Policy
SabaiWallet is a non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet for USDT on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC). This document explains what data the app and its backend service handle, and what we deliberately do not handle.
1. What we never see
- Your 12-word recovery phrase (seed).
- Your private keys.
- Your PIN code or biometric data.
All key material is generated and stored on your device only, inside the platform's secure keystore (Apple Keychain on iOS, Android EncryptedSharedPreferences). It never leaves the device, is never sent to our servers, and we cannot recover it for you if you lose it.
2. What we store on our backend
- Device identifier — a random opaque string we generate on first launch, so the same install gets consistent service.
- Your public BSC address — required so our background watcher can notify you of incoming USDT and BNB transfers and serve your transaction history.
- Optional push token — only if you opt in to push notifications.
- Cached transfer events — derived entirely from the public BSC blockchain (txhash, block number, counterparty address, amount, direction).
3. What we do not store
- Your name, email, phone, government ID, or any other identity information.
- Card numbers, bank account numbers, or any payment details.
- Your location.
- Your contacts or address book entries — these stay on your device.
4. Third-party services
We use the following public services, each in a read-only or one-way capacity:
- BNB Smart Chain RPC providers — to read balances and broadcast signed transactions you initiate.
- BscScan / Etherscan v2 — to enrich transaction history when an API key is configured.
- CoinGecko — to fetch USDT exchange rates for display.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — distribution platforms with their own privacy practices.
If you initiate a fiat purchase through the Buy flow, you are handed off to a licensed payment provider (e.g. Mercuryo or Alchemy Pay). Their terms and privacy policy apply for that step; SabaiWallet does not see or process your payment data.
5. Analytics and tracking
SabaiWallet does not use third-party analytics SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites. We do not sell or share data — there's nothing personal to sell or share.
6. Retention
Cached transfer events are retained as long as the device-identifier is active. If you "Sign out of wallet" inside the app, the device-identifier is wiped from this device. Server-side records keyed to it remain to serve the same address if you re-install — they can be removed on written request to support@sabaiqr.com.
7. Children
SabaiWallet is not directed to children under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes
If we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify you in-app before the change takes effect.
